The UAE Badminton Federation is the national governing body for Badminton in the United Arab Emirates.

We work under the directives of the General Authority of Sports (GAS) and the UAE National Olympic Committee (UAE NOC) and regulate the sport of Badminton in the United Arab Emirates.

Being the National Federation of Badminton in the UAE, we are a Member of the Badminton World Federation (BWF), recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) as the world governing body for badminton. In addition, we are also a member of Badminton Asia (BA), the entity governing badminton in Asia under the Badminton World Federation (BWF).

The UAE Badminton Federation was formally announced in December 2021. Before the establishment of the independent UAE Badminton Federation, the Badminton Committee under the UAE Table Tennis and Badminton Association performed the functions of the national governing body as a member of BWF since March 2016.

Supported by the BWF, the General Authority of Sports, the UAE National Olympic Committee, and the Sports Councils in different Emirates, the UAE Badminton serves players, clubs, academies, coaches, event organizers, and technical officials throughout the Emirates. We are also committed to supporting the development of badminton in schools and other grass root levels.
