The 44th edition of the prestigious India Club Badminton Championships kicked off on Friday at the India Club badminton courts in Oud Metha, Dubai. The event got a colorful start with a fitting inauguration ceremony and a competitive Team Relay event featuring the best Resident and Emirati athletes who recently participated in and won many international tournaments.

"This tournament has become a much-awaited event in the world of badminton, and it is an honor to bring together the best players from around the region and beyond to compete in a spirit of fair play and camaraderie. The UAE Badminton Gold Junior Ranking tournament is the first of the four segments of the one-month-long competition, which started Friday. A record number of 320 junior players from the Under 9 to 19 age groups are taking part in the ranking tournament, which will finish by 14th May. After that, the Junior International tournament shall follow, with players from outside UAE. AirBadminton, Emirati Championships, and finally, the India Club Open Championships, which will have players from GCC, India, and many other countries.

India Club Championships every year is a highly anticipated event in the world of badminton, and it continues to grow in popularity and prestige with each passing year.
