The largest AirBadminton tournament in the region is coming to the UAE, organized by the UAE Badminton Federation. As an early supporter of the BWF’s innovative outdoor badminton concept since its launch in 2019, the UAE has proudly led the charge in pioneering AirBadminton events. From the inaugural tournament at NAS Sports Complex in 2019 to the Dubai Sports Council-backed Beach Festivals, Expo events, Kalba Beach Games, and now the prestigious Dubai Police Ramadan Games AirBadminton Tournament 2024 - the UAE’s journey in elevating AirBadminton has been remarkable.
Kicking off with individual events for Men’s and Women’s Doubles, Mixed Triples, and Under 17 Boys and Girls Doubles this Saturday, March 16th, an even more exhilarating Team Event - the Mixed Team Relay shall follow next weekend on March 23rd and 24th. The custom-built sand courts at the Dubai Police Officer’s Club in Al Jadhaf provide a perfect backdrop for the competitions starting at 9 pm today.
With nearly 200 eager participants across all events, the 2024 Dubai Police Ramadan AirBadminton Tournament is poised to make its mark in the record books.
